Download Halo in Fall Dashboard Update

That’s right, as of next month you’ll be able to download Halo, straight to your Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Marketplace.

Talking to OXM recently, Microsoft confirmed that the fall update currently scheduled for December 4th, will include the option for users to download classic Xbox titles via Xbox Live Marketplace for around 1200 Microsoft points each. Over time they hope to make available as many of the original Xbox’s back catalog of games as possible, starting with the likes of Halo, Fable, Farenheit, Crimson Skies, Crash Bandicoot and Burnout 3.

Great news then, providing you’ve got the space. As Microsoft continue to offer larger content for download, first with Video Marketplace (launching soon in Europe) and now with downladable Xbox games, it’s becoming more and more clear that if you really want to get the most out of your machine, you’d do well to consider picking up that 120gig hard drive. Or perhaps more fitting, an Elite.

If they made Halo CE online I would pay all the money in the world to play it. Seeing as I still play Halo PC…
